[SOLVED] Receipt Plugin: You must provide at least one recipient email address

I am using the receipt plugin for a form. The form captures the user id (with label "Name") of the person submitting the form. I am using the placeholder {$my->email} as the recipient. However, when I submit, I get the error message: "You must provide at least one recipient email address".

Is this a bug, or am I doing it incorrectly? This is a newly installed Fabrik 3.1rc2 on Joomla 3.2.3.

All help would be appreciated.

Recent Fabrik is Fabrik3.1.
If you are running J!3.2.3 you additionally have to update from GitHub.
{$my->email} is working on my site
