[SOLVED] http error in file upload with ajax

if sef url is turned on then upload fails and looking at the actual ajax call in developer tools i see that the request url is based not from the root of the site rather from the sef url

anyhow i have a working form (apart from this very issue) here at http://karnamedia.com/services/website-development

I've seen something similar on a https-site (which was an exact copy of a http site without this issue).
I didn't find a solution with SEF on.
Did you try to set Joomla live site in configurations?

Your form doesn't contain a fileupload.
Can you enable the fileupload element (maybe for registered users only) and put your site infos into MySite (on fabrikar.com)?

yes, the live site is configured properly but
i believe the solution is to override the page_url parameter of the underlying plupload library and has prepared a pr here:
https://github.com/Fabrik/fabrik/pull/1354
i hope it will happen soon
