Search plugin using finder?

I'm using finder/search index for the Joomla search. Does the Fabrik search plugin work with that or not?

No, we don't yet have a finder based search. We've looked at it, and we might be able to create one, but the way the Finder API works presents some difficult challenges. It's designed for a much more static content setup.

We may take a crack at it this year, but I can't give you a timeframe.
