Menu Item - Fabrik form options

Hi,

I added a menu link item (using Row id and Key name options under the Fabrik form tab) in order to point to a record belongs to the logged in user.
Each time I save the form, it adding a new record instead of editing the record.
For information, I added that into the intro

{new: nouveau}{edit: edition}

and it's display edition when I access the form.

In addition Don't know if it's linked but when adding /form/{form_id} tho the herebefore url, I also can add records.

Do you have the id element published, writable...?

Not sure what you mean exactly with " /form/{form_id}", but if a user is allowed to add a record (list access settings) and you call a form without rowid then a new record will be added.
If you want to allow only one record per user you must add e.g. a isunique validation on the element storing the userID.

Ok I have found the problem, it was because I had a prefilter on the list.

However, after submitting the form, the custom success message isn't displayed but the standard one. This is linked http://fabrikar.com/forums/index.php?threads/form-custom-success-message.40891/

Ok I have found the problem, it was because I had a prefilter on the list.
