How to make an approval system for content submission

Hi,

I have created a submission form for submitting property details. I have also added approval radio buttons with default value of 0 and another value of 1. I have applied the appropriate prefilters to the list to make only the submission in the value 1 visible in the front end and the submission >= 0 viewable and editable in the backend through admin. But the problem is I dont know how to edit the radio button in the backend to make assign the value of 1. So I can make it visible in the frontend

Edit the record, set radio button to 1, save.

It doesn't matter if you are doing it in front- or backend, it depends only on the logged in user (so if you log in at the frontend as superadmin you can do it also).
