Fabrik for Joomla 3 problems

Hi all,

We downloaded Fabrik for joomla 3 and we have been through a whole process of trying to fix everything .. basically now we got it "working".

we had a problem with labels, that once they're hovered over they just disappear, but we fixed it with css. Now what we have is a problem with element-min.js, missing icons, the calendar time has also issues. Could you help us to identify these problems please?

We're using T3 bootstrap template in joomla.

This is the link:

Thank you

Strange same issue in 10 minutes. :)

Go into your T3 template settings and enable Legacy Compatible

Wow, that made the form look much better thanks :)

but we still have an issue with element-min.js.. please find attached the error from firebug.

Thanks :)

You may have to update from Github, I noticed another error on your form as well.

If you perform a full update and there are still errors then we can take another look.

we updated a full update from here: https://github.com/Fabrik/fabrik/tree/joomla3

but it gave us so much other errors (such as DS not being declared and many many other problems) that we reverted back to the package..

I am trying to update from that url on my localhost so that it will not destroy the website as it did before.

Will let you know.

Thank you

Hi! We update from here: http://fabrikar.com/forums/index.php?wiki/update-from-github/

Downloaded the latest version for Joomla 3.. we still have a problem with JavaScript on Firebug. We also have an issue with time template when we click time in date/time ... Also the whole template is a bit all over the place. We're thinking it's a CSS issue? Or bootstrap causing conflicts?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

The best way to test is to use the protostar template, this will at least eliminate it from being a Boostrap 3 issue.

Assuming you are using Joomla 3 then you did have the correct link, you can also use this link for the zip download https://github.com/Fabrik/fabrik/archive/joomla3.zip

Make sure when you are uploading all the files are going in the correct places. DON'T run an update inside Joomla after doing this. Use the process to refresh on the wiki it starts with....... "To refresh Joomla's database you need to go into the Extension Manager and click Manage"

When I wrote some of that it was Joomla 2.5 but it should be pretty much the same.

We are in need of some funding.
More details.

Thank you.
