I tried using that the folowinf code into the CONCAT field but doesn't work

'<img src="https://www.domain.com/images/paypal2.jpg" />'

Apparently, html tag's are removed :

<span>&lt;img src="https://www.mydomain.com/images/paypal2.jpg" /&gt;</span>

I have the last release form github

concat(field1," - ",field2)

any string should be in double quotes.

but doesn't fit

I could not replicate this with a database join element, but rather with the cdd element which you reported here

I've fixed the issue for the cdd and committed the changes to github. Perhaps fixing that also then fixed the database join element's rendered (as the cdd inherits from the db join element)
