Date Element Problem (Date selector not working and always todays date)

I have updated the latest from Github
but the date element always returns todays date.(The settings are correct )
Even if I edit the date in the form . It will still return todays date once saved.

Also in front-end and back-end the popup date selector is not working . Nothing happens if I click the icon.

The date selector in list view used for filter is working fine.
 
update again from GITHUB Fabrik-fabrik-3.0.6.3-254-geb6090a.

Still the date picker is not working in form.
 
hi, I re-installed Fabrik so that get rid of this symptoms. then it is working without whether collect or not. sorry I don't know how to repair it. I just tell you what it is working.

I guess this is the place to ask a question and seek help!
Data picker problem!

It works if every field is filled out correctly for the first time and the form.

It does not work if the form was not filled in properly for the first time and after ajax does validation on some fields (i.e Name, email etc.).

Then the data picker stops working! Opens but the date cannot be picked and entered into the field.

I downloaded and installed the latest github version. Still problem.

System in use: Joomla 2.5.7, latest fabrik 3.06 (some bits from github); Zoo yoo theme balance template, php 5.4.8
 
After the failed validation the datepicker on an empty date element is throwing
TypeError: c.date.setDateOnly is not a function calendar.js line 1

You may turn fabrikdebug on (in fabrik options) for easier debugging.
Did you try with a standard fabrik form template and a standard Joomla template?

Yes, I did try with standard joomla template, with standard fabrik (dafault) template and a combination of the formers.
Still the same problem.

I enabled fabrik debug (set to 'yes') and still stuck :-(

I have also downloaded and installed (today morning) the latest from github:
fabrik form - email
fabrik form - redirect
fabrik element - date

Again - no luck.

Kind of desparedo...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As per my most recent post

Did not help either.

Also, I have noticed that apart from not being able to pick and enter date into the field, the calendar itself is also misbehaving: i.e. no way to use arrows and move from month to month or from year to year :-(

Should I try and go ahead with clean intall of the whole fabrik?"
if yes, how? (extension manager > manage > uninstall fabrik package and the all remaining plugins. modules etc?)
That would be painful and with no guarantee that it would help :-(

You must update all files (upload the complete GitHub content.
After update clear all Joomla + browser cache.
Do you have 3rd party JS handling installed (e.g. compression...)?
 
Hi

Uploading all fabrik files right now via ftp. It's gonna take a bit though. Report when finished.

I am using various extensions from nonumbers (modalizer, modules anywhere etc.) useful stuff.

Let's wait for the upadate though..

additional info:
it works only if after failed submission (due to validation) I start typing manualy the date into the field and then the picker / calendar becomes usable again...
if it helps...
 
Actually, front end is of primary importance and yes, tested it thoruughly in many ways.
This is a part of my online contact form which is supposed collect data from my cutomers using this form and send it at the same time to a designated email address in my office.

I am more and more desperate .

Another issue has just come up with pick list.
This plugin in turn sent to an email an empty field with one empty bullet only (<li>&nbsp;</li>)

Honestly... what am I doing wrong?
Should I try to uninstall all fabrik bits and try again?
Is it possible?

Hi Guys

I performed fresh install of Joomla on new database.

Only Joomla 2.5.8, zoo extension, zoo widgets
and the fresh fabrik install with latest gitgub updates:

Must be a bug in:
- date picker (does not work after failed form submission)
- picklist (data not included in email message)

Please advise whether I should and if yes where to report those bugs?
What's the solution to this problem?

As per my last post:

MAybe this is the cause of problems:
