Cascading Dropdown error on save when nothing selected

My setup upgrade from Joomla 3 / Fabrik 3
Current Setup:
PHP Version 8.1.18
Joomla! Version Joomla! 4.4.1 Stable [ Pamoja ]
Fabrik 4.0 Zeta

When saving form that includes a cascading dropdown get error if nothing selected in the cascading dropdown irrespective if the Watch Element has something selected or empty.
500 Store row failed: Incorrect integer value: '' for column ... at row 1

Quick workaround: Set "Please select" value =0

Thanks for that .. I had tried setting default to 0 but didnt try your suggestion which worked.
