auto-fill values not stored in DB

Using Fabrik 4.0 Zeta.

On a form, the autofill plugin fetches data from another table, and when the form is being edited, this works fine. However, when saving the default values are stored.

Can anyone else confirm this?

It was my mistake, I must have mishandled the settings. After creating a new field element, I can autofill and store it without any issues.

The formatting of the field with Details > Advanced > Read only still invites people to try and type in that field, though. I want to have Details > Advanced > Read only set to yes, and Details > Advanced > Disable element set to no, but have is displayed as if Details > Advanced > Disable element is set to yes. Is that possible?

You can set custom CSS in your details template for formatting.

I'm sorry, I can't find those. I can only find the CSS options for formatting the list view. Can you help and point me?

Have a look in the Wiki, Developers/Form and Details Templates ( I'm not on my PC so I don't know the exact link)
