Thumbnail, lightbox and form fileupload sizes

Hello,

I am looking for a solution for 2 days now, but cant find something that works.
The thumbnail size, is the size that stays the same in the lightbox and de form view.

I would really like to have a small image in the list and a large one in the form. And a large one in the lightbox too. Cant make this work. I am using element fileupload.

Is this possible to show different sizes of the image? Maybe with css?

Even better would be 2 resized copies - thumbnail and medium size for details/lightbox. Plus original image to be downloaded when user allows it. Like e.g Zenphoto cms does
