show element from other list

Is there a way to "show in list" an element of a different list?

You can, but it depends on what you want to achieve. Can you describe what you want to do?

Possibilities:
use dbjoin or calc elements
join lists
use related data
put information in list intro/outro
...

ok I have a form here that collects data for 3 lists (location, details, contacts):

displayed is only the list "locations" here:
http://sdb.andysaller.de/index.php/list

Now I want to show in this list "locations" one element?s value of the list "contacts"

how can I do this in this case?

What do you mean with " form that collects data for 3 lists (location, details, contacts)"?
As far as I can see this form has two repeated groups (details, contacts).

The list beloning to this form should automatically contain joins to the (Fabrik created) DB tables sdb_locations_17_repeat and sdb_locations_18_repeat which should hold the related details and contact data.

Why don't you display this list belonging to your form?

I have set "show in list" for element "email" of repeated group contacts.
but the email element does not show up in list

ok added superuser login to mysites

versions in use:
Joomla 3.41
Fabrik 3.32

List and form is "locations"
groups details and contact are added to form

You had set both groups (details and contact) to "Include group in list view and query" =no

but now I have duplicate entries in City field
How can I filter the list so only unique city entries are displayed?

Set Display Mode ="Merge rows" (or Merge rows and reduce data" in list settings Data/Joins.
