Insert group rows programmatically

How to do this:
I have a dataset with a repeatable group. There should be created automatically as many group elements as the value of field1.
Example 1: the value of field1 is "4" => there will be created 4 group elements
Example 2: the value of field1 changes from "4" to "3" => there will be deleted 1 group element

So you want that to happen "live" on the form, as the value of field1 is set / changed?

It's possible, using the form's group counts and duplication functions, but not something I can write for you in community support.
