Hi,
I have an idea: is it possible to create small zip package only with files changed between two days:
e.g. (for Fabrik 3.0 Joomla 2.5) from 13.06.2013 to 14.06.2013 - only three files were changed - all of 129KB size
It might be much easier to update light weight files then whole github package. Please notice that not everyone has SSH server.
