Emailing files stored in an S3 bucket.

I have an application where Fabrik is used to store files in a S3 bucket using the file upload plugin. I want to be able to email this file or tick a number of rows (from list view) and have those files emailed to specific recipient.

Is there a way to get the email plugin to do this or am I better off getting a bit of custom php written that is triggered by the php plugin button?

I am looking for suggestions and if the email plugin is capable of doing this.

It's been on my list for a while. At the moment, no, it won't work, as the mail plugin doesn't know anything about the upload element's s3 adapter. There's a cheap way I might be able to do it, that doesn't involve splicing the upload element's drivers into the mail plugin. If I get some spare time this weekend I'll take a look at doing it, but no promises.
