as the issues are almost same (and equally frustrating) but still different. Talking about
1) databasejoin rendered as checkboxes
2) popup forms (e.g when adding new option to dbjoin element)
In unknown reasons databasejoin rendered as checkboxes ceased to submit any choosen data in any combinations. Now the data is submitted only if the first checkbox in order is checked and all others are consecutively checked.
Eg I must check 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 not 2, 11, 12, 38, 55
The numbers are positions in order, not values.
Strange exception: when I choose 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 then 1, 3, 5 are submitted.

About popup form - one issue is visible in these screenshots - a nonsense COULD NOT FIND RECORD IN DATABASE.
But another - when it is opened by add button near dbjoin element from a repeated group of earlier saved form (where the dbjoin element locates) AND there, in this group are already some entries, then
1) the element javascript doesn't work (can't hide/show elements)
2) the data is perhaps submitted but the window not closed and dropdown is not populated with new data
