Retrieve Field values to insert it into RSForm

I need to retrieve the value of a Fabrik field (macchine_italia___id), to insert it in a RSForm "ask info" form.
The "ask info" form is located in the Fabrik detail page.
How ?

Just a question: is there a reason to use both Fabrik AND RSForm in the same site as Fabrik can do everything (and even more) than RSForm can? I think using both extension would add quite an overhead to the site and hurt performance.

In any case, if you want to insert data into RSForm, it is more a question for them rather than for Fabrik.

RSForm is used only to ask info about the product in the detail page.
To write data in RSForm it is sufficient a small php code that "shows" the value of the Fabrik element (field : macchine_italia___id) ...

My point is that for that, you could do everything with Fabrik. That way you can retreive the value you need easily.
Also, I always hated the way RSForm was saving the data. It is much easier to use/process them with the way Fabrik stoes them.

You mean that it's possible to create with Fabrik a "request info" form in the details page ? With which plugin ?

Yes. You create a simple form, with the fields you need, and then use the Fabrik content plugin to embed your form into your article.
