plug in-Fileupload

Hello,

I migrated my site to j4.

As I was using Fabrik 3.10, I then placed Fabrik 4.0.Epsilon on the site.

I noticed a small problem with an element using the fileupload plug-in.

With Fabrik 3.10, when I clicked on the image placed on the detail, I had the image in a new window.

With J4 and Fabrik4.0, I have the image but on the active window and no longer on a new window.

In the list view> link target = New tab/window settings, I've got it right.

Could you tell me what I need to do to have this image in a new window?

Please excuse me, I am French-speaking.
The problem is for both, the list and the detail.
In the element, I chose the fileupload plugin and in the ''list view settings'', I updated the option ''link target'' = new tab/window. With f4 when clicking on the image, I have the original on the same window and not on a new tab. Under f3 it worked.

I forgot to tell you that on the frontend I am on a different template from Cassiopeia.
Wouldn't the problem come from there?

I thought I had answered but obviously iI didn't submit it.

If you want the "link target = New tab/window" to have an effect you must also set a custom link. But this is already the case in F3, so if it was working in F3 it seems you changed your settings.

You didn't give details to the "Detail" (=Affichier) tab, which is also important for display and links of the images.

(BTW: It may be easier if you switch your backend to English so that you and we have the same "naming" for setting options etc.)

I can't replicate.
It's the same behavious in F3 and F4: As long as you don't set a "Custom link" the "List settings/Target" doesn't matter.

With your settings in "Details" in F3 and F4 a click on the image (in list view and details view) opens the image on the same site (with Fabrik Options Javascript "Use Mediabox" = Slimbox) or in a popup (with Fabrik Options Javascript"Use Mediabox" = Mediabox).

Maybe you added a layout override in F3 to change this behaviour?

For certain elements, I added font-weight:bold;font-size:11pt in the custom-css.php, the element concerned is not included in this file.
path: /components/com_fabrik/views/details/tmpl/bootstrap/custom_css.php.
Now, if it is necessary to add in the custom link can you tell me what to indicate.

For your information here is the site which under j3 allows you to have the image on a new tab.
https://www.scripophilybelgium.be.
You must choose >securities info>Database> click on advanced search then in the window choose ''element''= name of title, ''condition'' = contains, ''value''= citas.
You will have the list, you click on the image, it will appear on a new tab. In detail it's the same thing.
Now I already found a new solution if none is found.

Your F3 site is showing target="_blank" for the image.
I assume you have an override for plugins\fabrik_element\fileupload\layouts\fabrik-element-fileupload-image.php (or you modified this file directly) in F3.
You can add a similar override in F4.

I will see, it is possible that the person, who helped me during the design of the database, to change a parameter to have a new tab. I'll tell you what, but for today I'm leaving the problem pending; I will see that tomorrow. Thanks again for all the info.

I found where the ''target_blank'' was'' which allowed the image to be on a new tab.
This parameter was in > template/templatename/html/layouts/com_fabrik/element/fabrik-element-fileupload-image.php (see templatej3 screen).
Due to the j3>j4 migration and following an override I had to delete the com_fabrik directory of the new template.
Now I have added in ''element-fileupload-image.php'' to line 29 (see fileupload-image screen). The addition is temporary, as the line could be modified during an update.
After all future updates (Joomla 5 and Fabrik zeta), I'll come back to modifying my template.
So the problem is solved.
Quick question: how do I close the post?

your-template/html/... is the correct place to store the modified layout file, as you say correctly the modified original file will be overridden by updates.
