Maximum to Minimum Character limits

I have textarea field. I want to force the User, to write minimum X characters. I know, I can do it using validation plugin condition, but I guess it makes more sense and user friendly, if characters left are displayed in text area, like it is currently being displayed for Max limits.

How do I change / override from Max to Minimum limits in my Custom F! Template ?

It's not overrideable, it's done in the textarea Javascript ...

... so we'd need to add that as an option in the element's Limit settings (so change "Show Max Limit" from a Yes/No choice to a "No / Min / Max" choice), and modify the JS accordingly. Which would be billable work.

I can understand. Right now I'm focussing on major stuff. Maybe in the near-future, I will contact you again for the billable job.

BTW, I always felt a need of having crowdfunding campaign to bring together 'like-minded Fabrik users' to contribute and bring such additional functionality to the Fabrik. I guess, it was discussed earlier in the Forum but didn't materialize. Can we have a separate section in Forum / WIKI / or on upcoming F! website where users can add, discuss, contribute and pay for a new add-on of common interest?

We have had a number of attempts over the years at crowd funding features, formally and informally. The problem has always been that about half the people who commit to funding a feature never pay up. The only way I see it working is with a kickstarter type arrangement, where funds are actually committed, credit card authorizations collected, then either charged when the funding goal is met, or not charged and discarded if the goal is not met within a time limit.

I've looked around, but have yet to find a fund raising site which fits the niche we need. If you know of any, please let me know.
