is it possible to get a value of an element (field) of another list (table) either via PHP or SQL ?
How can I get the corresponding value of an element selected via a cascadingdropdown, and automatically put it into an article/item?
Suppose I am creating an application to have a dog / teacher / competition forms.
Each of them as their corresponding fields.
DOG
Name
Date of birth
Gender
TEACHER
Name
Date of birth
Presentation
COMPETITION
Dog
Gender of the Dog
Teacher
Presentation of the Teacher
etc.
Suppose dogs and teachers are participating in a contest.
I would like to fetch the gender of the Dog after selecting its name from the cascadingdropdown element
and put it into the competition results. Same goes for the presentation of the teacher after selectin him/her from the dropdown.
How can I achieve that?
