Warning: count(): Parameter in new install

Warning: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable in /storage/content/.../administrator/components/com_fabrik/fabrik.php on line 81

It's an older J! site, running J3.8.11 and php 7.2.9 with a fresh automated install of Fabrik 3.8.1.

I got the Fabrik plugin against Kunena ordering warning, but solved that. Went to component Fabrik in backend and got the error string above.

Read a few threads and changed php to 7.3.0 3b, to no avail.

Yeah, and we really need to put out a new release. I'll talk to Robbie, see if we have time this week. The problem has been that J! have been churning out minor releases that have all been causing issues, and it's really only now that I've had the breathing space and had a stable enough code base.
