Minor issue with error messages

Error messages behave in a different manner whether they are fired by submitting the form or with Ajax.

• On submit, the text of the error message is displayed next to the field preceded by a question mark. That is fine for me.
• With Ajax validation on the same form (you can trigger the "submit validation" if you skip fields altogether), if the validation fails, a "danger" sign is displayed nest to the field. Hovering over the sign does not show the error message, you have to click on it to have it shown. It could be fine but the problem is that once it is there, you can't make it go away (see the screencast: http://screencast.com/t/2nl9jDljv). This is tested on FF and Chrome

I've changed this so that both the form submit and inline validation messages are shown in-line
