Fatal error after upgrade the last security patch (session.php)

After upgrade the last security patch (new file libraries/joomla/session/session.php) the forms stop work (when submitted) with this error:

Fatal error: Cannot access empty property in ..\libraries\joomla\registry\registry.php on line 336

Where do you get this: frontend, backend...?
I've a Joomla2.5/Fabrik3.2 test site which seems to be working fine.

Hi,
the problem is in frontend, and now I had to put the old file session.php

I suspect that an update would solve, but I would not overwrite anything not to cause other problems.

I'm going to create a development site for experimenting. Thank you
