Date element avoid record of time

Hi
I would like to know how to avoid recording the time on a date element.
If i delete time format, it keeps reappearing
H:i
or if I change the value to 0
it keeps adding the time that the record was recorded
I check php.net/date but I couldnt find the answer there

set show time to no - that should do it. also ensure that you dont have any time formatting options in the list/form date format options.

it has always been off.
Sorry I cant understand you about the second part, do you mean in the same screen of the image above?

Yes, the "Show time selector" should be set to No. Also go to "Formatting" tab and set the "List format" and "Form format" to Y-m-d (without H:i at the end).

Unfortunately that is how it is set originally and it keeps recording the time
show time selector as no
and in the "Formatting" Tab the list as the form are set as Y-m-d

thats why i think this is a bug with this element for the vertion 3.1b

hi yes i meant that setting. Could you post screen shots of the other tab settings as well please so I can test.
Also in your last post you say that you are using 3.1b - could you update from github to test if that works better for you?
