counter field

Hello,

how can I create a field which sums in real time every value payed though the Paypal plugin? So for example a user pays 20$ and later a different user (or the same user) pays 50$. The counter field should show in real time 70$ after the last subscription. It could be compared to the counters used for the crowdfunding.

Personally I would do that with the IPN handling in the PayPal plugin, with a custom paypal_ipn.php file.

There's a real world example of updating tables when the IPN handler runs here ...
