• Hello Fabrik Community

    Fabrik is now in the hands of the development team that brought you Fabrik for Joomla 4. We have recently transitioned the Fabrik site over to a new server and are busy trying to clean it up. We have upgraded the site to Joomla 4 and are running the latest version of Fabrik 4. We have also upgraded the Xenforo forum software to the latest version. Many of the widgets you might have been used to on the forum are no longer operational, many abandoned by the developers. We hope to bring back some of the important ones as we have time.

    Exciting times to be sure.

    The Fabrik 4.0 Official release is now available. In addition, the Fabrik codebase is now available in a public repository. See the notices about these in the announcements section

    We wish to shout out a very big Thank You to all of you who have made donations. They have really helped. But we can always use more...wink..wink..

    Also a big Thank You to those of you who have been assisting others in the forum. This takes a very big burden off of us as we work on bugs, the website and the future of Fabrik.

Hi there, I have got a couple of DigSig elements in a form, and I have been facing an issue when using it in tablets and mobile.
Basically, when the user wants to draw in the field the body keeps scrolling so I have tried the "touch-action" CSS property which stops the scrolling but now when the user tries to sign is not working (only drawing dots if you click directly on the signature field).

CSS:
.pad {
touch-action: none;
}

I have been searching on the forum and external pages but I have not found a simple workaround for this.

Has anyone faced this issue? Is there any simple workaround to make it work on mobile devices?

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi,
I've only tried on iOS but can't reproduce: everything working fine, no scrolling of anything while drawing in the digsig element.

However, if you do still have the issue:
Indeed, the "touch-action" CSS property does not appear to be related or of use for the purpose.
You have a link to the form?

Thank you lousyfool, in the end I have used styled field elements as per support advise, it works for what we want and is legal for signatures, I was having PDF rendering issues using digsig element in repeat groups as well, so the fields are doing the job.

Cheers.
