juser list update

I have created a member list, which I can create a new users using juser plugin, well everything is working great, but there are 2 small problems:

1- when user is trying to update his email it only updated in fabrik list but not in Joomla users table.
2- when user is trying to update any other field like (his Name or Mobile) the form gives him a validation error message that his email is already exists.

This is typically if you don't have defined a userId element in the jUser settings (so a user is always creating a new Joomla user).

You have done it, but is the userId accessible by the user?

no it is not, it is hidden in fabrik form.

Hidden doesn't hurt, but is it editable?

I think yes, it has the standard setting, the user can edit it.

Does it really contain the Joomla user id?

yes it does. I checked the user ids in both tables and it was identical.

when creating a new user everything goes fine, but when I edit it, the email element validation asks for non registered email.

Hmm, which element type is your userId element?

Note if you want to update the Joomla user associated with the form's record when you edit the form's data you must supply a field (type field or dbjoin) in the "User ID field"

userId is a field element type.

Can you confirm that 'edit' and 'view details' access is set to Public for the user_id element.

Is this on your Mardosa site? I'm guessing not, as the element names in your screen shot don't match.

I figure it out, the problem was because I added an (existing email validation) to email element, I removed that validation and now it worked.
